How to Overcome Procrastination - Part 3 - The Goal
How to Overcome Procrastination - Part 3 - The GoalWe all have the tendency to procrastinate. In fact, we often do so in the early stages of writing our first big project or first serious piece of writing. In order to overcome this problem and truly become a writer, we must learn to deal with it. What follows is a simple method for dealing with procrastination. In my view, the most common cause of procrastination is not the project at hand but the fear of the task at hand. The fear of finishing, the fear of failing, and the fear of disappointment are all involved here.A good example can be seen in any big decision that is made - from joining a gym to buying a house to the big goal of becoming a millionaire. It's all the same thing: The fear of the outcome. If you don't have the courage to make the choice that you need to make, you'll never do it. Or worse, you'll waste your time - and the energy you've put into accomplishing the task that you needed to accomplish. Unfortunately, most o f us don't really want to give up the freedom to live as we want without someone else telling us how we should do it.However, one way of overcoming the fear of the outcome is to simply write the essay sample from the beginning to the end. This allows you to see the choices you made from the very beginning. This is by far the best way to avoid making bad choices or making sure fire plans do not go off track. Once you can see your choice from the very beginning, you're likely to avoid making bad choices in the future. In other words, just writing the essay sample lets you see the choices you need to make, which will lead to better choices in the future. essay sample The bottom line is: When you start writing your essay sample, start with the conclusion and move back to the beginning. Your fear of the outcome won't force you to make choices that you would regret later. Instead, it will let you see the situation that you are facing and your choices.
